This is not an emotional 'win one for the Zookster' play but an analysis of two teams that are not separated by much talent. We know of Florida's four losses; Tennessee stole one courtesy of a bad call against them, LSU came from behind and Georgia just beat them. The one that unseated Zook was the loss to Mississippi State. Meanwhile, Bobby's bunch might have had its third loss of the season last week if only Chuck Amato would have taken those glasses off and actually seen that his offense has been anemic all year and maybe some sort of adjustment is needed. Check out Florida State's schedule and you will see it is average at best. There is just the sense of knowing that Florida State's offense is really not putting any good team 'away' and taking a touchdown is hard to pass up -- especially with Leak and Fason on one side of the ball and it looks as though Channing Crowder might be ready for both teams' final game. Zook will never be mistaken for Spurrier but a win here would make that bad taste in his mouth disappear a lot quicker.
Take care, Jimmy V.
