Internet traffic monitoring firm Hitwise has released numbers showing that Tombola.co.uk is the UK’s most visited bingo website, which backs up a report released last week by BingoPort.co.uk.
Last week, BingoPort.co.uk reported that Tombola.co.uk saw just over 1,200 average daily concurrent players for the three months to the end of June.
Tombola.co.uk revealed that it hopes to consolidate its position as the UK’s most popular online bingo site with a new television, print and Internet advertising campaign that will commence in August costing upwards of seven million pounds. The campaign will feature a tropical island theme with television adverts due to be shown during breaks for some of the UK’s most watched shows including Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
The site is also currently running a £100,000 free bingo promotion that has awarded millions of free tickets though popular weekly magazines. This campaign is the first of Tombola.co.uk’s promotions to carry the new tropical island creative and launched alongside an original website carrying the same design.
Tombola.co.uk revealed that all of its games have been developed exclusively in-house while it also offers 43 chat rooms featuring over 100 moderators and a weekly free game for depositing players with £20,000 won every week.
Affiliates for Tombola.co.uk can choose from a variety of revenue share or cost per action commission structures. Choosing the revenue share structure, affiliates can earn 35 percent for bringing in up to £750 in net gaming revenues and 40 percent for producing up to £1,500. Forty-five percent awaits those that earn up to £3,000 of net gaming revenues while bringing in over £3,000 will see an affiliate entitled to half. Affiliates signing up for the cost per action structure receive £25 per player for the first 24 they bring in that then stakes £25 or more. Bringing in up to 49 players will see an affiliate earn £30 per player while there is £35 per player for 50 or more.
