Sportsbetting information provider World Sports Network has released an upgraded soccer service for its WSN.com domain featuring the fastest scoring updates of any online livescore provider.
The improved service now covers almost 5,000 football matches a month and users can also use WSN.com to view the latest 1X2 odds alongside each match's scoring information.
The upgrade will also alert users to the latest odds updates by pop-up messages in a livescore window and the service is already live featuring UEFA Champions League and Europa League qualifying matches ahead of the 2009/10 season.
”From usage metrics it was clear that WSN.com users were most interested in a high quality livescore service,” said Charles Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer for WSN.
“Responding to this feedback, we shifted investment into this product and are proud to have put the new gold standard in football live score online today.
“While WSN.com gets lots of traffic from general football fans, most of WSN.com's visitors are sports bettors and we have aimed to support them by adding additional betting information like the 1X2 odds alongside the scores.
”Shortly, we will be expanding the live score service again to cover in-running odds as well. With the addition of in-running odds for most matches, the WSN.com live score will be unrivaled in the value it provides to online football fans.”
In conjunction with the release of its new livescore service, WSN.com has also undergone a complete redesign with easier to use navigation and fresh imagery. The updated version enables visitors to WSN.com to easily locate information using clearly labeled features and menus. Also included in the new design is a prominent search box allowing users to drill deep into WSN.com's half million pages of football content.
