Professional poker player Annie Duke has announced that she will be participating in Saturday’s Online Forum Challenge Ante Up For Africa Charity Tournament with a bounty on her head.
The special Tournament has a buy-in of $1 + $10 and has been designed to raise money and awareness for the Ante Up For Africa organisation.
Kicking off from two o’clock in the afternoon New York time at UltimateBet.com, the Online Forum Challenge Ante Up For Africa Charity Tournament is also set to feature Mark ‘P0ker H0’ Kroon alongside other poker professionals with similar bounties.
“I am so excited that the poker community is embracing this cause,” said Duke, who is a sponsored Pro at UltimateBet.com.
“Online Forum Challenge Ante Up For Africa Charity Tournament is a great way for players of any level to get involved.”
The winner of the Tournament will receive admission to the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) Academy along with $500 for airfare courtesy of UltimateBet.com. In addition, players that eliminate any of the poker professionals will win a one-year Online Premium Membership to the Poker Players Alliance.
“We are honoured to be working with the entire UltimateBet.com team and the WSOP Academy,” said Jason ‘Wolf’ Rosenberg, President for Global Gaming Events, owners and operators of the Online Forum Challenge.
“They have all been so supportive in our efforts to bring attention to this very special cause.”
