Enhanced odds for punters with William Hill’s new promotion

Bookie, William Hill, has announced that from 30th August punters will be able to enjoy a daily Happy Hour (or rather hour and a half), with enhanced odds available between 5.00pm and 6.30pm. There will be a minimum of three different offers, usually based around the evening’s football, but Hills is promising that there will be offers on other sports and products. The offer is not restricted to betting shops, but is available to Internet telephone customers as well.

The promotion was trailed during Euro 2004 and proved immensely popular. Hills PR Director David Hood said, 'The feedback from our Euro 2004 campaign was very positive, with a noticeable increase in business related directly to the enhanced offers. Our staff reported a good number of new customers who seem to have switched their allegiance to Hills because of the offers, and we have had so many enquires from our customers about it that we have taken the decision to continue with it during the domestic football season.”

“We are not encouraging people to bet more, just bet with Hills. Almost without exception these punters would be placing bets on these events anyway,” he added.

The offer begins on Monday 30th August and will continue everyday until further notice.
