British woman wins the Cash Climber jackpot in the Sharon Club room at GalaBingo.com to take home £90,595 off of a five pence stake.

One lucky British online bingo player is celebrating this week after winning over £90,000 off of a five pence stake courtesy of leading site GalaBingo.com and its Cash Climber jackpot.
The 50-year-old single mother uses the pseudonym ‘theberry’ on the site and has received £90,595 from GalaBingo.com after only winning the odd £50 prize in the past.
The Dartford resident stated that she had not been aware that she had hit the Cash Climber jackpot while playing in the Sharon Club room because she had been in her kitchen making a coffee. She only realised that she was the winner of a life-changing amount of money after seeing congratulatory messages in the site’s online chat room.
“I was shocked,” said ‘theberry’.
“At first I thought it might be a practical joke from a friend who had somehow managed to set it up. So, I called GalaBingo.com and they confirmed it was true.”
The winner had some unfortunate experiences in 2009 and stated that the prize money would certainly come in handy.
“I’ve had some bad luck last year, damaging my back, having my handbag stolen and crashing my car so this is just amazing,” said ‘theberry’.
“I think it has just about sunk in. We’ve had years of being careful so I’ve just got the children a few treats but I still haven’t spent much so far as we’re still working out what we want to do with our win. I have lots of things I want done in the house and am looking forward to a nice holiday as well.”
GalaBingo.com revealed that it pays out more than £65 million per month in prizes and is currently offering new players a voucher worth £20 to test out its services.
