Online casino information portal Casinomeister.com has unveiled its list of the best and worst for 2009 with Gibraltar-licensed 32Red.com taking home the site’s Casino Of The Decade accolade.
Microgaming-powered 32Red.com was launched in 2002 and has won Casinomeister.com’s Casino Of The Year prize six consecutive times due to its ‘personable customer service, responsive and effective management and professional solid operations’.
For 2009, RealTime Gaming-powered ClubWorldCasinos.com took home the Casino Of The Year prize due to its ‘responsive and helpful customer service and support and a focused and responsive management team’.
WagerWorks received Casinomeister.com’s Best Casino Software Supplier award for the year while Curacao-licensed AllStarSlots.com walked away with the Best New Casino prize.
“They've brought on board a solid stream of International Gaming Technology's new games this year such as Dungeons and Dragons, Rainbow Riches and Transformers, which are all familiar to land-based players,” said Bryan Bailey, Administrator for Casinomeister.com, regarding WagerWorks.
However, the awards were not all praise and Malta-licensed GoldenLounge.com took home the dubious honour of Worst Casino Of The Year followed by runner-up Stryyke.com.
“Powered by MGS software, GoldenLounge.com sets the standard for a badly managed casino,” said Bailey.
“There were no less that eleven ‘pitch a bitches’ submitted this year and a multitude of accusations in our forum of confiscated winnings and locked accounts.
“GoldenLounge.com sorted through a number of these complaints with the assistance of Max Drayman, our PAB manager, but in his frustration he stated ‘the service from GoldenLounge.com is despicable. When I take an issue to them, I may get an answer in a week or a month or not at all.’ Some of these issues dealt with claims of ‘bot’ use, stalled winnings, locked accounts, misuse of ‘autoplay’, violations of their terms and conditions, which can be pretty sweeping. Players are at the mercy of the goodwill of this casino, which is not how a casino should be run. So, high fives all around for the staff of GoldenLounge.com.”
Other awards include Best Customer Service, Worst Player Experience, Biggest Disappointment Of 2009, Stupid Casino Tricks and Evil Player Award while those interested can see the full results at Casinomeister.com/BestWorst2009.php.
