Monday saw Lance ‘kingpin023’ Harris walk away with $331,000 after taking down the twelfth event of popular online poker series at FullTiltPoker.com.

The 15th edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) continued this week and saw Lance ‘kingpin023’ Harris walk away with over $331,000 on Monday evening after triumphing in the competition’s twelfth event.
A no-limit hold’em tournament hosted by professional player Gavin Smith featuring a buy-in of $1,060, the twelfth FTOPS event drew 1,541 players to generate a prize pool slightly larger than the $1.5 million promised by the organisers.
The field was packed with pros from the live and online worlds including a trio from organiser FullTiltPoker.com. Despite fighting their way to the final five tables, Joao Barbosa bowed out in 41st spot while Daniele Mazzia went one better to take home $3,698 and David Pham held on for 32nd place and $4,314.
Several online pros also came up just short, including Corey ‘Comandr_Cool’ Burbick in 31st, AG ‘vtlaxer09’ Winchester in 26th, Matt ‘NoBadBeatsPlz’ Kay in 25th, Cody ‘CalBandGreat’ Shedd in 23rd, Chris ‘MrDoggy’ Klodnicki in 20th, Nick ‘agriffrod’ Mitchell in 14th and Richard ‘rjmgrace’ Grace in 13th
The final table saw Anthony ‘raver44’ Lorieu take home $21,574 for finishing in ninth spot followed by ‘RandomFish666’ in eighth for $30,820. A player using the pseudonym ‘yahoo33’ crashed out in seventh for $43,148 while sixth spot and its prize of $66,263 belonged to Kevin ‘KevboyStar’ Stani. After beginning the final table fourth in the chip count, ‘RLD1989’ went home in fifth for $92,460 followed by ‘bmwmcoupe’ in fourth for $123,280 while Steve ‘gboro780’ Gross walked away with $155,641 for third. However, it was Harris who came from behind to take home $331,315 and his first gold jersey after defeating runner-up ‘grindtherail’, who could not be unhappy with his $209,576 prize.
Similar to last year’s FTOPS XIV final, the main event for the 15th edition will take place on February 24 from 6pm New York time and is promising at least $2.5 million in prize money.
