NetPlay TV has signed a deal to bring its interactive gambling programme to STV viewers six nights a week for the next two years.

British interactive gaming firm NetPlay TV has finalised a two-year television distribution deal with STV Group that will see its key ChallengeJackpot.com programme broadcast six nights week to viewers in Scotland.
STV is Scotland’s largest commercial broadcaster, reaching over four million viewers a month, and the initial programmes are to be supported by additional television, web, cinema and press advertising.

“As a result, we will be able to offer a much improved service offering, a wider range of games and jackpots.
“Furthermore, by adding more broadcast channels to this service, we are able to improve the quality of the television show, further differentiating ourselves as the leading interactive television gaming company.”
ChallengeJackpot.com is also broadcast live on Virgin 1 and Bravo 2 every night of the week and allows viewers to place real cash bets on a live roulette wheel.
'The recent OFCOM ruling in June allowed us to explore new revenue generating options,” said David Archer, Managing Director for STV Ventures.
“We moved quickly to take advantage of this in September by launching an exciting new interactive television casino product on STV in conjunction with NetPlay TV. NetPlay TV was able to provide us with a fully regulated service and, following a successful trial, we are delighted to agree a new two-year deal with them.”
This deal follows an agreement signed in September with Channel Five that has seen SuperCasino.com broadcast throughout the UK. Since its launch during the fourth quarter, NetPlay TV stated that gross bets and deposits for the service have increased by 36 percent quarter-on-quarter.
“This agreement builds on the pivotal deal we signed with Channel Five,” said Higginson.
“Confirmation of the increase in top-line bets, deposits and sign-ups proves our belief in television as a new and exciting distribution channel for gaming services.
“The change in OFCOM rules has enabled us to secure the majority of television distribution channels in the UK. With these secured, we believe NetPlay TV is now well positioned to dominate this space and create a significant new gaming market.”
