Leading online poker room DoylesRoom.com has revealed that Alex ‘AJKHoosier1’ Kamberis has become the latest member of its Brunson 10 team of hand-picked young players.
The 23-year-old joins fellow sponsored players Chris ‘Moorman1’ Moorman, Dani ‘ansky451’ Stern, Amit ‘amak316’ Makhija and Zachary Clark in representing the site around the world while also playing at DoylesRoom.com.
The young American has an impressive CV of online tournament successes and took down AbsolutePoker.com’s $150,000 Weekly event for a pay day of $37,500 only one week after finishing in second at FullTiltPoker.com’s $750,000 guaranteed competition to walk away richer to the tune of $135,000.
He also took third spot in PokerStars.com’s 2008 World Championship Of Online Poker main event and has clocked up four million dollars in online earnings overall.
“I was on hiatus last year and taking it easy,” said Kamberis.
“This year, I’m going to be everywhere though. I’m going to Los Angeles after this and Monte Carlo after that. I’m coming back, online, live, everything. I’m going to remind people that I can play.”
