GTECH G2, the interactive subsidiary of leading American gaming technology and services firm GTECH Corporation, has updated the software for its International Poker Network (IPN) to give players more choice at the table and added convenience at the cashier.
Combining the software development and customer management expertise of Boss Media, Finsoft, Dynamite Idea and St Minver, GTECH G2 also operates the International Bingo Network and the International Skill Network and stated that the IPN is now the largest independent poker network in Europe.
The latest software update allows players to pick their own seat at a poker table while using the same wallet they would employ for casino and sportsbetting transactions.
“Being able to choose your own seat at the table may seem like a small thing to some but we design everything from the player’s perspective,” said Wendy Lawrence from GTECH G2.
“So, when players told us this is a feature they’d like to see, we built it in,”
GTECH G2 revealed that its version 7.3 update means that players no longer have to transfer funds when switching from casino games to poker or from poker to sportsbetting. Customers can now use the same wallet for all products given that the firm’s poker software is better integrated with its playercentric Gaming Management System back-end.
GTECH G2 stated that its Gaming Management System enables operators to monitor players more closely and modify product offerings and bonuses accordingly. It announced that the back-end’s open architecture also makes it easy to add new games from its extensive library of casino, side and skill games or even titles from other suppliers.
