Jadestone Networks, the Swedish firm behind the GamArena and DiceArena multi-player gaming systems, has announced that it will be adding the player liquidity and local expertise of Gioco Digitale to its Italian network following a deal with Bwin.
Jadestone became the first iGaming software provider to launch cash skill games for the Italian market, which were delivered for use by Bwin in January of last year.
Since then, the Stockholm-based firm revealed that Bwin has gone on to acquire local operator Gioco Digitale, which provides various poker, betting and gaming products.
Jadestone stated that it is set to create a skill games network in Italy for the combined audiences of Gioco Digitale and Bwin. This network will be integrated to Italian authorities via the new Gioco Digitale platform while also being open for other partners to join.
“We are proud that customers appreciate our games in the Italian market and that we continue to grow our presence there,” said Tobias Nissen, General Manager for Jadestone.
“Our partnership with Bwin and Gioco Digitale forms the bedrock of a high-quality and high liquidity network for all Italian players to enjoy. The re-launched proposition takes advantage of the new platform developed by Gioco Digitale and Bwin and will benefit all other partners that choose to work with us in Italy.”
To further strengthen its presence in the Italian market, Jadestone has appointed Marcus Dahlgren as its new country manager. Dahlgren will be responsible for building local business together with existing and new partners from next month.
“Skill games are a key product in our vision of gaming as a part of the entertainment industry that already see a strong effort in direction such as the producing and distribution of poker and sport video,” said Paolo Di Feo, General Director for Bwin and Gioco Digitale in Italy.
“We believe in Italy there is space for the growth of a network that shares this vision and we found in Jadestone not only a recognised international leader but also a partner that is willing to commit to creating games that are in line with Italian tastes and trends.”
