Online bingo comparison site OnlineBingoClub.co.uk is offering one lucky couple the chance to receive £5,000 to put towards the cost of a wedding as part of a special sponsorship competition.
In return, the winning couple will be asked to sport the site’s logo on their wedding invitations, table settings and menus and pose for promotional photographs and publicity material. In addition, the bride will also be expected to sport a Velcro logo on her wedding dress that can be removed for personal photos.
To enter the competition, brides-to-be should e-mail photos of themselves and their partner to BingoBride@OnlineBingoClub.co.uk along with a short biography on their relationship and 100 words on what it would mean to become the world’s first bingo bride.
Rob Hutchison from OnlineBingoClub.co.uk stated that the average British wedding costs over £11,000, which means that many couples aren’t able to afford their ‘perfect day’.
“We all know weddings cost a fortune,” said Hutchison.
“After taking care of a dress, venue, photographer, catering and cake, things really add up. Sometimes the bride-to-be will say she’s not bothered about a big, extravagant wedding, but we all know that’s never really true.
“We’re hoping to give the lucky bride a wedding she’s always dreamed of and all she has to do is feature our company’s logo on her dress and wedding invites, which I believe is a small sacrifice to make. Our logo is really bright and I think it will stand out well against a plain white wedding dress.
“The £5,000 can be put towards the cost of the wedding reception or to fund a dream honeymoon, whichever they choose.”
