Coach for online poker training site DragTheBar.com has been unveiled as the latest member of elite team of sponsored players.

Dusty ‘Leatherass’ Schmidt has been unveiled by Isle Of Man-licensed PokerStars.com, one of the world’s largest online poker rooms, as the latest member of its PokerStars Team Online.
Schmidt joined online poker training site DragTheBar.com as a coach in January after spending three years as an instructor at StoxPoker.com and has been playing professionally for five years.
The 28-year-old is joining an elite 26-player roster that includes Thomas ‘Boku87’ Boekhoff, Grayson ‘spacegravy’ Physioc, Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew and Steve ‘stevesbets’ Jacobs.
“I am proud to announce that I have been given the great privilege of becoming a PokerStars Team Online pro,” said Schmidt.
“I consider myself very lucky to be the newest member of PokerStars Team Online and am really excited to play exclusively on PokerStars.com, which I have long felt is the best poker room in the world.”
Schmidt has earned over three million dollars in his career while logging more than eight million hands over 10,000 hours. He posted the world’s highest win rate in games of $5/$10 and $10/$20 no-limit poker in 2007 and 2008 and won in excess of $600,000 playing high-stakes cash games over a four-month period starting in November of 2007.
“I will have to admit it does feel pretty sweet to be bestowed the honor of representing PokerStars.com,” said Schmidt.
“I have long wanted to progress my poker career to the point that this may someday happen and I can honestly say that I got their through a ton of hard work. That makes me feel really good because I have always believed that hard work is paramount and perseverance counts for a whole heck of a lot.”
