Leading online casino UltimateBet.com has announced that tonight will see hosts Joe Sebok and Scott Huff welcome charitable guru Rafe Furst, poker player Thuy Doan and newly crowned World Poker Tour champion David Williams to its Poker2Nite weekly television news programme.
The Kahnawake-licensed domain recently signed up Poker Pro Media as an official media sponsor for the programme and revealed that episode nine of its second series will begin this evening from 11pm on Versus.
UltimateBet.com stated that this evening’s episode will see philanthropic visionary Furst discuss charitable causes within poker including his own Put A Bad Beat On Cancer initiative begun alongside Phil Gordon. He is also set to discuss his upcoming land-based poker charity events while taking on Sebok in a game of rock, paper, scissors before braving the 60-second On The Clock segment.
The programme will also see Doan, who is currently battling cancer, update viewers on her condition while speaking about the support she's received from the wider poker community. UltimateBet.com stated that viewers outside of the US can catch the latest episode on SportsNet in Canada and The Poker Channel in Europe.
This week's episode will also catch up with two of the biggest tournament winners of the past week, Liv Boeree and Gloria Balding, while Bodog pro Williams will discuss his $1.53 million payday after outlasting a field of 195 including a final ten loaded with Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Billy Baxter, David Benyamine and eventual runner-up Eric 'Basebaldy' Baldwin.
