Isle Of Man-licensed PokerStars.com, one of the world’s largest online poker rooms, has announced the acquisition of information portals PokerPages.com, PlayWinningPoker.com and Poker-Babes.com. PokerStars.com revealed that the trio of well-established domains would continue alongside its own in-house poker blog at PokerStarsBlog.com to serve as valuable resources for online poker information. PokerPages.com launched ten years ago and features an extensive collection of articles on strategy alongside interviews and book reviews. In addition, the site offers a detailed directory of global poker rooms and a comprehensive database of tournament results featuring coverage of every major North American and European competition from the past five years. Similarly, the Winner's Guide To Online Poker, which was first published by player Steve Badger on PlayWinningPoker.com in 2000, was the world’s first online guide to poker strategy. This site also includes sections on Texas hold'em and Omaha alongside articles on tournament considerations, blinds play, game psychology, bankroll management and many other facets of online and live play. Poker-Babes.com was launched in 2003 by successful tournament player Shirley Rosario and was the first site to offer profiles and photos of some of the game’s more famous faces alongside strategy guides to lesser-known variations such as Omaha, Razz and Badugi.
