iGGBA announces new Council and Programme for 2004

At the iGGBA Annual General Meeting, held on 29th January at the ATEI/ICE show, the new Council for 2004 was put into place. The members for 2004 are:
Andrew Tottenham, Trading Sports (Chairman of iGGBA)
Nick Harding, RAL Interactive
Steve Toneguzzo, GGS
John Carganello, TST
Malcolm Graham, Ritz Interactive
Richard Boardley, Littlewoods
Nancy Chan – Palmateer, Cryptologic
Richard Flint, BSKYB
“This has been an excellent AGM and the new Council will strengthen our work in new areas such as the European Union and the construction of a regulatory framework in the UK,” stated Andrew Tottenham, newly re-elected Chairman of iGGBA.
At the AGM, iGGBA announced the formation of new regulatory and tax committees to drive home these issues as the UK Draft Gambling Bill moves forward. iGGBA also expanded the scope of the organization to direct engagement with the European Union following on recent developments in Brussels concerning gambling. iGGBA aims to represent the i-Gaming industry and has already met with representatives from the Commission. Finally, iGGBA announced it’s “Future of..” series of events with the first one being the Future of the Remote Gambling Market to be held on 29th April in London.
“There are over 45 members in iGGBA now and is a tribute to our success as an organisation. iGGBA will be at the forefront of the issues affecting the industry both in the UK and Europe and our membership growth shall continue to support that mission”, stated Mr. Tottenham.
