Leading online poker site PokerStars.com has launched its new MicroMania promotion for players that enjoy a good game but do not have loads of cash to splash out on buy-ins.
Running throughout July, the Isle Of Man-licensed site revealed that MicroMania is offering micro-stakes players improved VIP benefits, added-value tournaments, live event qualifiers and special deposit bonus offers.
For players that haven’t experienced the world of real-money play, PokerStars.com MicroMania promotion is offering a full matching deposit bonus of up to $600 for those that use the code ‘Mania’. Players that lay down at least ten dollars will also receive a free ticket into any of its special $1.10 events happening this month. Existing real-money players are being offered a change to get in on the action by making a deposit using the code ‘Micro’ to receive their own special $1.10 ticket.
MicroMania is also offering players that compete in one of PokerStars.com’s designated micro-stakes cash games a reward of at least 50 percent more points. For every dollar raked at one of its game tables, the domain will credit ten player points, which is up from its usual rates of 5.5 for six-maximum and six for full ring games. Its Euro games are set to be boosted to award 12.5 points per Euro raked instead of the usual rate of eight to 8.5.
“This means you’ll earn frequent player points much faster and clear any pending bonuses nearly twice as fast,” read a statement from PokerStars.com.
“This offer applies to all no-limit and pot-limit ring games up to and including $0.05/$0.10 and all fixed-limit games up to and including $0.10/$0.20.”
PokerStars.com is also running four $1.10 MicroMania Special multi-table no-limit hold’em tournaments each day this month with $1,000 added. These take place at twenty minutes past ten, one, seven and ten o’clock New York time and can be found by going to the sites ‘Tourney’ section and hitting the ‘Special’ tab.
MicroMania is also offering its $1.10 Super Sit And Go tournaments until July 31 with winners receiving a share of $100,000.
“The prize pool will be divided among all the players that win a MicroMania Super Sit And Go tournament in July with the credits being made by August 2,” read the statement from PokerStars.com.
“If there are 12,650 MicroMania Super Sit And Go winners in July, every winner will receive a $7.91 share of the prize pool. The MicroMania Sit And Go’s will be 50-player no-limit hold’em tournaments. You can play as many of the tournaments as you like but you will only be eligible for one share of the $100,000 prize pool.”
Finally, PokerStars.com will be offering special value-added qualifying satellite tournaments every Sunday this month with this weekend’s offering seats to the Latin American Poker Tour’s Florianopolis event.
“All four MicroMania satellites will have a $1.10 buy-in and will feature a regular prize pool,” read the statement from PokerStars.com.
“The event package will be added to the first place prize, which means added value of more than $5,000 for each event. These tournaments will take place at twenty minutes past two o’clock in the afternoon New York time under the ‘Events’ and ‘Special’ tabs.”
