Alderney-licensed online poker room FullTiltPoker.com has announced that the 17th edition of its Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) will begin next month offering 34 events awarding a guaranteed total of $19 million in prizes.
The first event will be a no-limit hold’em tournament featuring a total prize pot of at least $750,000 that is set to kick off on August 4 from nine o’clock in the evening New York time featuring a buy-in of $216.
This will be followed on August 5 with three events including a pot-limit Omaha high-low game that gets underway from two o’clock in the afternoon with a buy-in of $236 and a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. The second day will also feature a no-limit hold’em six-maximum turbo event with a buy-in of $322 from six o’clock in the afternoon guaranteeing a total of $300,000 and a Horse event with a buy-in of $535 from nine o’clock in the evening promising a prize pool of at least $200,000.
FTOPS XVII will also feature a two-day event alongside knockout competitions and the main event, which has a buy-in of $640 and gets underway on August 15 from six o’clock in the afternoon featuring a guaranteed minimum prize pool of three million dollars.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, FullTiltPoker.com is also hosting its unique Rush Week from July 12 to 18 giving players the chance to pick up even more cash. From Monday, competitors that earn enough points each day over the term of this special promotion could walk away with up to $250 in free bonus cash. In addition, those making it to the final table of any one of the special tournaments will automatically qualify for the Rush Week Freeroll on July 25, which has a prize pool of $50,000.
