Stand-alone online poker offering from leading operator is set to become the newest member of the global network by the end of July.

Online poker players at Betfair.com will soon be able to take advantage of the increased liquidity offered by Ongame Network Limited and its P5 Poker Engine after the site revealed that it will be joining the global network by the end of the month.
Ongame is a subsidiary of Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG while Malta-licensed Betfair.com stated that the deal will see a ‘significant player liquidity migration to Ongame Network from Betfair.com’s stand-alone poker room’.
“This move is a conscious effort to place our poker players at the forefront of our product offering,” said Daniel Svard, Head Of Poker for Betfair.com.
“Betfair.com poker players will have access to more games at all times of the day.
“Both companies are dedicated to the long-term improvement to player experience. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Ongame Network.”
Ongame announced that Betfair.com will utilise its P5 Poker Engine to offer players an ‘enhanced gaming environment suitable for any poker wallet with the liquidity to energise cash games and tournaments’.

To celebrate its move, Betfair.com is offering $500,000 in promotions beginning on July 27 and running until August 20. Online poker players will be able to enjoy $500 freerolls with no entry requirements twice a day alongside a $60,000 rake race that will see the top 100 earners walk away with cash prizes ranging from £$75 to $10,000.
In addition, the site is running two leaderboard competitions for sit-and-go players set to give away a combined total of $30,000. The games start from just one dollar and will award points based on a competitor’s return on investment over 35 to 75 matches.
