Leading mobile online casino LadyLucks.co.uk has launched a trio of new games specifically designed for use on the iPhone handset and its iPod Touch portable media player compatriot.
The Alderney-licensed site is owned by mobile telephone gaming specialist Probability and revealed that players can now wager for real money on roulette and multi-hand blackjack alongside the Poseidon’s Kingdom slot using their iPhone or iPod Touch while a fourth title, the Gold Rush slot, is scheduled for release later in the summer.
The new games have been developed to run inside the browsers of iPhone and iPod Touch units in a way similar to a regular application. However, due to Apple’s restrictions on gambling games being offered through its applications shop, the titles are not being distributed through this mechanism but via commercial relationships with AdMob Google Incorporated and other leading providers of advertising inventory.
“The iPhone has transformed the mobile landscape and made mass-market consumer mobile gambling games a reality,” said Charles Cohen, Chief Executive Officer for Probability.
“We have taken our time to ensure that our games take full advantage of the amazing capabilities of these devices and we believe our customers are going to be delighted with the results. People are just blown away by the quality of the interface and the sheer pleasure of using games like this on large and bright touchscreens.
“Clearly, this also gives us the opportunity to address a whole new audience who have moved on from camera phones and keypads. We have already established strong relationships with the likes of AdMob and other key players in the race to reach iPhone users.
“Our business-to-business clients are also excited by the new games and we’ve been able to use this as a great marketing tool for potential new clients as well.”
LadyLucks.co.uk stated that players can install the new games for free using a WiFi or mobile Internet connection with new customers receiving a voucher worth £2.50 in order to test out the new titles. Clients can then deposit funds into their account using a variety of payment methods including credit and debit cards, mobile bill charging and cash vouchers purchased from retail outlets all from within the games.
