London to host the biggest poker festival in the world throughout September

15 July 2010 (London, UK) - The London Poker Festival, which takes place throughout venues in the UK capital from August 28th to September 28, offers over 100 events at a dozen participating venues and over £10,000,000 in combined prize pools. Besides all the real-money action, the Poker Festival offers poker enthusiasts a dozen poker-orientated, non-gambling events. As well as the inaugural WPT London, the English Poker Open and the WSOPE, local card rooms and casinos throughout the city have joined forces to offer their own special events – tournaments, satellites, cash games, player hosted parties, poker academies and much more. This means that there will be a little something for everyone, every day throughout September. The Poker Festival also includes Poker in the Park 2010, The British Poker Awards, The Balla Strip Poker Championships, six Poker Academies, a rock concert and several parties.
