Leading online sportsbook ToteSport.com has announced the launch of a redesigned site featuring a range of live betting applications powered by the latest Betstream software from developer Boolabus.
London-based Boolabus stated that Betstream is a ‘live betting development framework that powers the bets in live betting’ launched in advance of the 2010 FIFA World Cup that combines ‘multiple data and content sources to create a dynamic real-time betting experience for punters’.
“We were delighted to be selected by ToteSport.com to be part of the re-launch of the sportsbook,” said Brian MacSweeney, Managing Director for Boolabus.
“Our experience of working with all the major platforms and sports data providers counted for a lot on this project. The potent mix of data feeds and our advanced live content module puts ToteSport.com customers in the best seat for all of their live football betting.”
Boolabus announced that Betstream is powered by ‘rich real-time data and offers contextual and real-time promotion of the most relevant betting markets’ to ‘actively drive betting on higher margin and less popular markets’. As an example, the firm offered a scenario in which a football player is shown a yellow card. Its application will show that player’s profile before following up with summary statistics on bookings in the game so far and closing the deal with a push on the booking points market.
“Trader’s can write their own rules as to what they want to promote and when,” said MacSweeney.
“In a real-time environment it’s not enough for sportsbooks to list a huge number of markets and, at best, adjust the order occasionally. We’re focused on driving betting volumes and margin and pushing the right market at the right time. That’s what Betstream is about.”
The application utilises data from OpenBet, BetGenius and Sporting Solutions, the business-to-business arm of Sporting Index, with Boolabus revealing that it has plans to add even more feeds in future.
“Over a couple of years we’ve worked closely with some of the leading third-party suppliers and platforms to make it as easy as possible to get a great experience for the end-user,” said MacSweeney.
