The organiser of the annual International Gaming Expo (IGE), Clarion Gaming, has announced that next year’s edition of the show is already close to capacity with exhibitors from 36 jurisdictions having already confirmed their presence.
IGE 2011 will be held from January 25 to 27 at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre with Clarion stating that the rapid take-up of stand space means that the fair is at over 90 percent capacity a full six months ahead of opening.
“This is the fastest take-up of space in the history of the exhibition,” said Kate Chambers, Show Director for IGE.
“Visitors to the show in January will be presented with an inspiring 20,000-plus square metres of innovation covering the entire gaming landscape of betting, remote, casino, mobile, street, lottery and bingo sectors.
“Our two unique selling propositions remain the sheer breadth of the total gaming experience that’s available to visitors and the internationalism of the exhibition, which regularly attracts visitors from over 100 countries. No other event comes anywhere near IGE in either of these respects and explains why the show is such a landmark event in the international gaming calendar.”
Clarion revealed that the most represented nation on the show floor for January’s IGE outside of the UK is so far set to be Malta with 16 exhibitors followed by twelve from the United States. After these come Italy, Slovenia and Taiwan with ten each while there will be nine exhibitors from Austria. Other leading nations due to be represented by exhibitors at the London show include Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Sweden, Spain, the Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Latvia and Serbia.
