Land-based casino operator Caribbean Casino And Gaming Corporation has announced that it has retained Catania Gaming Consultants as an advisor while it prepares for the potential of licensed and regulated iGaming coming to the United States.
Caribbean Casino And Gaming operates the Dominican Republic’s Sosua Bay Grand Casino, which features 82 slot machines alongside roulette and Texas hold’em tables, and is based in Bradenton, Florida.
The operator revealed that Catania Gaming Consultants will assist it in navigating the ‘rapidly changing landscape of online gaming’ while it prepares for the possibility of legalised iGaming becoming a reality in one of the world’s largest potential markets.
Catania Gaming Consultants described itself as a ‘consulting firm with extensive experience in gaming issues’ that is led by Frank Catania, an attorney with years of experience stemming from his service with the New Jersey Division Of Gaming Enforcement and Players International in addition to working as Deputy Speaker for the New Jersey General Assembly.
“Working with Catania offers us the knowledge, ability and experience of building our US business model while we focus on the core business that has created the ability for us to expand our interests at such a rapid rate,” said Steven Swank, Chief Executive Officer for Caribbean Casino And Gaming.
“This is an investment that balances all our efforts as the number one online gaming company with live video. Potentially adding the United States to our list of licensed countries we work within will obviously take us to the next step, once again.
“Having the resources that we have strived for continues our path to success. Mr Catania and Catania Gaming Consultants, matched with Mr Riley and International Monetary, brings Caribbean Casino And Gaming to the next level of business that we have all been working for.”
