The account was which was controlled exclusively by the Pastor had more than a half-million dollars in church money can't be accounted for. The church's treasurer, Darryl Neltner, who reported the shortfall to Kentucky State Police disclosed that the church’s money was withdrawn from ATMs at horse racetracks and via an online gambling account.
While the Kentucky State Police and a Campbell County grand jury are investigating the matter, subpoenas have been issued for church and bank records, as well as to Davis, Neltner and the head of the church's board of deacons.
He also added that at least three checks drawn on church accounts and totaling more than $100,000 were made out to cash or to Davis. The treasurer said the Church account was 'controlled exclusively' by Davis.
