Wayne Pickup, the former CTO of New Zealand Lotteries, is the new Head of WLA sales.

Interactive gaming software and services provider GTECH G2 has a new head of World Lottery Association (WLA) sales. Wayne Pickup, who previously managed GTECH's Australian and New Zealand markets, will now be responsible for developing relationships with potential WLA clients as well as helping deliver igaming products to state-run lotteries throughout the world.
Prior to joining GTECH Pickup was the CTO at New Zealand Lotteries and also had a spell at European lottery firm Essnet. As manager of GTECH's Australasian markets, Pickup played a key role in its bid for the sale of NSW Lotteries.
“Wayne is well respected within the industry,” said William Scott, GTECH G2 Group Commercial Director. “He brings to the role a credible track record of operational execution and he has demonstrated the ability to develop strong customer relationships over time.”
