Formed in 1974 to manage and recruit donors to one of the two bone marrow registers in the United Kingdom, the Anthony Nolan Trust is based in London and is’s sponsored charity for 2010. The Anthony Nolan Charity Poker Challenge tournament will feature unlimited ten-dollar re-buys for 60 minutes of play in addition to one add-on and award the top-placed competitor with entry into’s Sunday $200,000 guaranteed event. In addition, the runner-up and third-placed players will receive packages to the Amateur Poker Association and Tour’s upcoming European Championship worth $200 while the fourth and fifth best competitors will take away a pair of tickets each to watch Manchester United take on Everton at Old Trafford on April 23. In addition, the players finishing in sixth and seventh places will win a pair of tickets to attend Ascot’s Christmas Meeting on December 18 while those in eighth, ninth and tenth will walk away with a chip set. As if all this wasn’t enough, top professional poker player John Tabatabai is set to join in the fun alongside former England rugby star Will Greenwood and both will have bounties on their heads. The player that knocks out Greenwood after the re-buy period has ended will receive a signed England rugby shirt alongside a copy of the Sky Sports analyst’s autobiography, Will, while a week’s worth of poker coaching awaits the competitor that is lucky enough to eliminate Tabatabai.
