E! Entertainment has launched a new programme called E! Hollywood Hold ‘em, due to be launched on 17 March at 10pm ET/PT.
It promises to bring viewers straight to the poker action, along with dishy conversation and an exclusive home tour. Dealing the cards each week will be World Poker Tour Champion, Phil Laak, who brings not only his extensive poker expertise to the table, but his lively banter and insider gambling tips.
Keeping the pizza and beverages coming each week will be a different celebrity host who will also share with viewers exactly where in their homes they work out, entertain friends, sleep, cook and generally escape the limelight. Joining each celebrity host will be two of their best buddies and two other poker-friendly celebs.
