UBOC6 concludes on Sunday

Tournament series from leading online poker room UB.com is ending this weekend with the $1,050 buy-in Championship Monster Stack no-limit hold’em event.

Friday 28th January 2011

Online poker room UB.com is reminding players that the sixth instalment of its UB.com Online Championship (UBOC) tournament series is due to conclude on Sunday with the $1,050 buy-in Championship Monster Stack no-limit hold’em event. The UBOC6 tournament series kicked off on January 16 and will have seen 29 events each hosted by one of its sponsored professional poker players by the time the one million dollar guaranteed main event final rolls around on Sunday. The final UBOC6 event is scheduled to begin from four o’clock in the afternoon New York time and will be hosted by new Team UB squad member Prahlad Friedman featuring a championship-style blind structure and each competitor starting off with 10,000 chips. “Every great tournament series has its crowning jewel and UBOC6 has one as well,” said Joe Sebok from Team UB. “Our one million dollar championship event is here and I can't think of a better way to finish up our most successful UBOC than to have one of our biggest tournaments ever on UB.com. “The players have had more fun and won more money than ever and it seems we have a new mark to surpass for UBOC7 when it rolls around. See you all in the championship.” UB.com revealed that its $1,050 buy-in event is expected to ‘attract a swag of the world’s best online poker players’ including Adam Levy and dual World Series of Poker bracelet holder Brandon Cantu. “There are still chances for players to parlay their way into the prestigious January 30 no-limit hold’em championship tournament for less with satellite feeders starting from as low as four dollars,” read a statement from UB.com. “Plus, there's one more main event multi-seat satellite yet to run on Sunday, a $109 buy-in 80-seat guaranteed satellite at one o’clock New York time that's perfect for those looking to conquer the million-dollar event for a fraction of the direct buy-in.”
