New G2E Pavilions

To showcase Amentities, Interactive Gaming and Indoor and Air Quality Products

New pavilions focusing on the latest trends in amenities, interactive gaming and indoor air quality products and services will debut at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2005, taking place September 13-15, 2005 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The three new areas of the show floor join five popular returning pavilions highlighting F&B, design & décor, bingo, technology, and security and surveillance. Each of the eight pavilions will be supported by conference sessions within G2E's comprehensive education program.

'The gaming industry is continuing to evolve, and we are constantly working to develop new exhibits and conference content focused on emerging issues affecting the bottom line,' said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA). 'G2E is designed to give gaming executives the tools to succeed, and highlighting these new areas is just one of the many ways G2E helps attendees prepare for the future.'

According to the 2004 G2E Future Watch Series, an annual research survey conducted in conjunction with G2E, 99 percent of respondents see the trend toward more emphasis on revenue from restaurants, spas, shopping, nightclubs and other non-gaming features rapidly expanding beyond Las Vegas in the coming years. At the same time, Fahrenkopf said, expansion of the industry has raised the bar for innovations required to distinguish new properties. G2E's new Amenities Pavilion will unveil innovative products and the newest trends in exclusive spas, retail, entertainment, fashion, business services, arcades and special attractions. The pavilion also will feature popular outdoor and fitness amenities including golf, tennis, health clubs, fishing and boating.

With the online gaming sector currently accounting for more than 3 percent of global gaming revenues and legislation in the online gaming arena continuing to evolve, G2E's iGaming Business Pavilion offers a comprehensive look at online gaming, with access to the providers, service professionals and products necessary to initiate and manage an interactive gaming service. A joint effort between G2E and leading interactive gaming publication iGaming Business, the pavilion will showcase online skill gaming providers, interactive poker vendors and online poker room operators. It also will feature leading service providers for interactive gaming operators such as law firms, online gaming auditors, financiers, specialty jackpot insurers, online payment solutions, Internet security specialists, player verification specialists and hosting-facility managers.

Fahrenkopf noted the past year has seen growing attention to indoor air quality issues in all public spaces, with many states actively pursuing new air quality regulations. G2E's Air Quality Pavilion will introduce the latest technologies in indoor air quality systems with exhibits demonstrating the leading products in air and smoke filtration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.

Several returning pavilions also will anchor the G2E show floor. Building on its successful debut at G2E 2004, the F&B Pavilion - part of the culinary marketplace of F&B at G2E - again will offer visitors a wide range of products and services to explore. Arranged in a unique circular boulevard, vendors will showcase products ranging from food and beverage and food service equipment and supplies to technology, décor and more.

Also created in 2004, G2E's Design & Décor Pavilion is designed to help gaming executives keep pace with the cutting-edge products and services that will literally change the face of the industry. Buyers will have the opportunity to view unique products and services in areas such as interior design, themed environments, spas, architecture, land use, construction, signage, décor, landscape architecture, furniture/fixtures and golf course design.

Additional returning exhibit pavilions include the Security & Surveillance Pavilion featuring world-class suppliers of security devices and services; the Bingo Pavilion encompassing the world's leading bingo and charitable gaming suppliers; and the Technology Pavilion highlighting the latest in video lottery terminals, screens and monitors, kiosks, retail and hospitality software, and more.
