Sportsbook.com has posted odds on the first round of the 2005 NBA Playoffs and have listed the Chicago Bulls a –130 favorite over Washington Wizards in their first round series. Washington is listed at +110 as the underdog.

'This should be an interesting series because both teams play an entertaining style of basketball,' says Peter Childs, Odds Maker, Sportsbook.com. 'It's a difficult series to predict because both teams have little playoff experience - especially Chicago. It makes it more interesting for the betting fans when you don't know what the outcome will be.'

This is Chicago's first trip to the post season since 1998, the last year Michael Jordan played for the team. The Bulls are listed as 60-1 favorites to win the championship, with Washington listed at 100-1. San Antonio (12-5),Miami (13-5), Phoenix (4-1) and defending champion Detroit (9-2) are the leading contenders for this year's title. Washington won the regular season series with Chicago this year, taking two of three games against the Bulls.
