Jaymin Patel was honoured at the annual conference for the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries in Indianapolis on Tuesday.

Friday 28th October 2011

Gaming technology and services firm GTECH Corporation has announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Jaymin Patel has been inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame as a member of this year’s class. A subsidiary of Italian lottery and gaming giant Gruppo Lottomatica SpA, GTECH revealed that Patel was nominated and voted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame by former inductees before being honoured at an induction ceremony during the annual conference for the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries on October 25 in Indianapolis, Indiana. “The lottery industry continues to grow and change and Jaymin has been at the forefront of those changes,” said Donald Sweitzer, Chairman for Providence-based GTECH. “I have witnessed the evolution of a leader and I know from personal experience that his determination, skills and intellect have helped shape not only our company but this industry.” The Lottery Industry Hall of Fame was founded by the Public Gaming Research Institute in 2005 as a means of honouring those that have done the most to make the sector a success with membership reserved for professionals who have promoted excellence and integrity throughout their careers. “Jaymin has a clear and consistent vision for the company and also for its customers,” said Sweitzer. “He has dedicated both resources and time to ensure the industry moves forward and has had the courage to push for change. Clarity of purpose and firm resolve to move the industry forward to generate more revenue for good causes has always been the driver of his vision.”
