WSOP seats on offer in Las Vegas Team Challenge

Badbeat.com is urging its players to compete for a prize package valued at $48,000 in PokerEncore.com’s team event.

Online poker staking and training business Badbeat.com is encouraging its players to form teams and enter PokerEncore.com’s Las Vegas Team Challenge III for the chance to win seats into next year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP). Players have until February 15 to qualify for spots into the live final of the Las Vegas Team Challenge III, which is set to take place on March 3 and 4 at the Genting Club Star City in Birmingham. The winning team will take home a prize package to Las Vegas valued at $48,000. with the overall runners-up winning a ‘European package’ valued at $12,000. “We’re really encouraging Badbeat.com players to form teams and take advantage of this opportunity,” said Joshua Rowat, Player Relations Coordinator for Badbeat.com. “This is just the kind of competition our poker training system prepares players for.” Badbeat.com offers players funding and comprehensive support including cutting-edge software tools and a structured development path with advanced learning aides and knowledge alongside expertise and support from a pool of world-class mentors and support staff. Its free MyGame training and analysis system was launched in early-July after being developed in partnership with the poker team that guide, trains and develops its sponsored players offering those that have registered access to a range of tutorials, report cards and social gaming features. Badbeat.com declared that its MyGame system builds players’ poker skills from the ground up using a unique ‘play and fix’ approach that analyses actual gameplay before spotting any weaknesses and then showing competitors how to fix them. Participants will then receive a report card that grades them in various aspects of play once they have taken part in at least 500 cash games. The domain also recently premiered a free iPhone application that allows members to check and share the results of these report cards on the go via popular social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook. In addition, competitors will receive advice on play and watch videos on how to become a better competitor.
