Online casino sportsbook scores film product placement deal

MyBookie.com Signs Deal with Warner Brothers

Online casino and sportsbook MyBookie.com has sealed a deal with Warner Brothers giving them exclusive product placement in a new film “Lucky You”, starring Drew Barrymore.

The MyBookie.com website will be prominently featured in the film, as well as within the storyline. The movie features a college student who hits it big online then turns his sights to Las Vegas, where he tries to beat the odds in a quest for the world championship. Eric Bana, Robert Duvall and Debra Messing also star.

'This is definitely a first for our industry, and we are currently looking at a variety of potential partnerships within the television and music industry,' says Mike Nichols, founder of MyBookie.com. 'We see our products really as an extension of the entertainment industry as a whole.' Given the long-term relationship between Las Vegas and Hollywood, this certainly seems like the perfect fit.
