Online gaming and sportsbook software supplier OpenBet Technologies Limited has signed a deal that will see it develop slot titles from Aristocrat Leisure Limited for use over the Internet. Aristocrat is an Australian land-based casino systems supplier and OpenBet stated that its agreement will see it adapt a number of ‘top performing games’ from the Sydney-based firm for use in an ‘online format’ before making them available to operators via its games package releases and Electracade subsidiary.
“This major partner agreement with Aristocrat is another example of how OpenBet can work with companies to ensure that the best content is available to online operators,” said David Loveday, Chief Executive Officer for London-based OpenBet.
“The gaming industry has been going through a transition that is seeing proven land-based content transcending to online platforms. OpenBet’s leading platform allows companies such as Aristocrat to deliver their popular content to a much wider and growing audience.”
OpenBet declared that the first slots set to be made available online under this new partnership will include the five-reel and 20-payline Geisha, which feature ‘all the fun, excitement, colours and graphics of the original casino version’, and the popular Wicked Winnings titles.
“Our multi-year partnership with OpenBet gives Aristocrat the opportunity to rapidly progress our online content strategy,” said Sam Nickless, Emerging Businesses and Strategy Managing Director for Aristocrat.
“Combining our top-performing games with OpenBet’s expertise and strong reputation will create a compelling offering for both players and operators.”
