GLENDALE, Calif., March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FutureLogic, Inc., a leading developer of innovative ticket printing and couponing solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed to extend its Global Technology Agreement with International Game Technology (IGT). According to the agreement, FutureLogic's peripherals will continue to be the preferred printers in IGT's current gaming platforms. With operator demand increasing, IGT will be transitioning to the GEN3 Evolution(r) printer in 2013.
The award winning GEN3 Evolution(r) printer has the industry's largest standard paper capacity, 450 tickets. This will save operators up to 30 refills or $300 per printer annually. Further reducing costs, FutureLogic printers eliminate paper waste by consuming the ticket stack down to the last ticket. Moreover, the GEN3 Evolution(r) printer is also the fastest printer in gaming, printing and presenting a ticket/coupon in less than one second. Designed with promotional couponing in mind, the GEN3 Evolution(r) printer will provide operators with separate and secure processing environments for both TITO and promotional couponing and precision grayscale printing through advanced temperature control technology, yielding the highest resolution output for printing eye-catching promotional coupons.
'We chose to extend our global agreement with FutureLogic because of their outstanding printer performance and reliability, which allow IGT to focus on our customer needs in innovative ways, while delivering new levels of efficiency to casino floors,' said John Chamberlain, IGT Director of Platform Product Management. 'Over time, strong relationships have been established between our companies, and we look forward to our continued partnership with FutureLogic.'
'We are delighted with IGT's decision to extend our global agreement to supply our printer technology for their full range of award winning games,' said Nick Micalizzi, FutureLogic's VP Sales & Marketing, North America. 'FutureLogic printers will continue to serve with an unmatched track record for performance and reliability. We look ahead to a lasting partnership with IGT.'
