Malta iGaming Seminar set for success

Fifth annual event will take place at Le Meridien Hotel and Spa from November 12 to 13 featuring a number of influential speakers.

This year’s edition of the Malta iGaming Seminar is on course to becoming a success with organisers revealing that the fifth annual event will feature a number of influential speakers engaging in discussions regarding some of the latest issues facing the industry. Scheduled to take place from November 12 to 13 at Le Meridien Hotel and Spa, the Malta iGaming Seminar will be inaugurated by Dr Edward Zammit Lewis, Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth. The event will be moderated by Michael Caselli, Managing Editor for iGaming Business and gaming veteran AJ Thompson. The line-up of topics are set to include gaming in the cloud, Bitcoin, social gaming, anti-money laundering and affiliate marketing as well as a host of discussions relating to the industry and the jurisdiction of Malta. “The subjects being discussed are probably the most engaging yet,” said Jeff Buttigieg, Director for Re/Max Malta and a founding partner of the Malta iGaming Seminar. “We are hitting some very delicate issues and we have a very qualified line up of speakers participating in the panels.” Malta iGaming Conference speakers will include Vladimir Maslyakov, Chief Technology Officer for Exante, which was the first company to establish a Bitcoin hedge fund, Ulrik Bengtsson, Chief Executive Officer for Betsson Malta, James Illingworth, European Business Development Director for GLI Europe BV, Tom Galanis, Director for GameOn Affiliates, and Joseph Borg, a senior advisor to WH Partners and formerly Chief Regulatory Officer for Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority. “We are delighted to have such influential speakers addressing our event,” said Christian Sammut, Chief Executive Officer for BMIT and another founding partner of the Malta iGaming Seminar. “This only confirms that the Malta iGaming Seminar is one of the most important gaming seminars to date.” The Malta iGaming Seminar will take place over two full days and include keynote speakers as well as panel discussions, a cocktail reception and a poker tournament at the Dragonara Casino which will be held on November 12. “The Malta iGaming Seminar is an ideal seminar for C-level employees, managers, affiliates, start-ups as well as those interested in starting a career in the iGaming industry,” read a statement from the Malta iGaming Seminar. “The event has attracted a number of key sponsors including iGaming Business and iGaming calendar as its media partners, Paypoint as a main sponsor, CallCredit, GLI Europe, PlusFive, GamCare and PlaySoft among others.”
