New Appointments To Consolidate Ascend’s Stronghold
Leading business-to-business media company change personnel, increase circulation

Ascend Media Gaming Group – the gaming industry’s leading business-to-business media company – has announced several personnel and circulation changes that will further strengthen the market-leading status of monthly magazines IGWB and Casino Journal, and quarterly publications Indian Gaming Business and Slot Manager.
Paul Doocey has been named editor of the company’s flagship publication, International Gaming & Wagering Business (IGWB), in charge of the editorial content of the international gaming industry’s most widely read publication. “Paul is one of the most respected editorial voices in the industry,” says Publisher Pamela Hugill.
IGWB Editorial Director Marian Green has been named editor of Indian Gaming Business. She also will continue as editor of Slot Manager and will lead Ascend Gaming’s custom-publishing efforts.
Casino Journal veteran Andy Holtmann has been named that magazine’s editor, after serving several years as managing editor, associate editor and assistant editor. “Andy’s promotion to editor is well-deserved, but not surprising,” Hugill said. “His dedication to the success of Casino Journal the past six years has been unmatched.”
In further news from Ascend, quarterly magazines Slot Manager and Indian Gaming Business are both gaining several thousand qualified subscribers through new distribution with Casino Journal. Beginning in January, Indian Gaming Business will be distributed to qualified readers of both IGWB and Casino Journal and beginning in February, Slot Manager magazine will be distributed to qualified readers of both IGWB and Casino Journal.
