Another Colts victory has gamblers ready to pounce
Thursday 1st December 2005
The Indianapolis Colts are on course to complete the first undeafted NFL season in over three decades years. After another convincing win, this time over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Colts fans are expecting them to defeat the Cardinals on Sunday (4/12) and continue on their winning way to a 16-0 season.
While most pundits expected the Colts to win against the Steelers, the physical nature in which they disposed of Pittsburgh coupled with the ease with which the Colts’ so-called small defensive front handled the Steelers’ offensive running game sounds a huge warning to any would-be opponent.
Following the game against the Cardinals, the Colts face 3-8 Tennessee but then wrangle with three teams, all with winning records - Jacksonville, San Diego and Seattle - before closing the regular season against Arizona.
“The Chargers will be a test in week fourteen,” predicts SportingbetUSA Manager Tony Delgado. “Tomlinson and Gates will be a handful, but their defense is suspect. Seattle will get smacked around at home in week fifteen and then the celebration will begin after they clip the Cardinals wings.”
It has been 33 years since an NFL team has gone unbeaten and SportingbetUSA.com is keeping very busy taking bets on whether or not the Colts will do it this year. Odds are updated on SportingbetUSA.com on Wednesday morning.
