Freeroll tournament at ParadisePoker.com concludes in the Bahamas

4,000 players tried, but in the end it was Santito Sgambelluria who has walked away from ParadisePoker.com’s latest freeroll tournament with the $1 million prize. The Naval Officer from Guam defeated Ryan Boyes, a utility worker from Atlanta. Qualifiers for the million dollar freeroll tournament started online, but the final table had players face-to-face in the Bahamas, where Sgambelluria overcame ten other top qualifiers.
After winning one of the largest online poker purses ever, Sgambelluria said, ‘The whole experience was unbelievable -- to win was even more unbelievable. It hasn't sunk in yet. Everyone played great and I am just happy to come out on top. This might be the beginning of a poker career - I still can't believe it.'”
