Ant and Dec To Host ITV Poker Game Show

Ant and Dec To Host ITV Poker Game Show

Friday 24th March 2006

ITV, Britain's largest commercial TV channel, has given the green light to a poker-based game show that will air on Saturday nights to millions of homes across the UK. Called ‘The Con Test’, it will be hosted by two of the channels most bankable stars, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, known simply as Ant and Dec to their disturbingly large number of followers.

The entertainers came up with the initial concept, which will feature players having to bluff their way to the guaranteed £1 million prize. It's the first time this amount of money has been guaranteed on a UK game show, so it's nice to see that the world of high stakes poker is starting to influence the mainstream.
