Wednesday 10th May 2006

May 10, 2006 (London, UK) – Commodore Casino & Poker (CommodoreCasino.com) has announced its primary sponsorship of the ‘2006 World Stars Football Match’. The event to be held on May 23 at Stade Louis II in Monaco will feature some of the biggest names in world sport, as a team of F1 Drivers and Star Team Monaco face-off in support of worldwide children’s charity AMADE.

The F1 Drivers team will be captained by former F1 world champion Michael Schumacher and include such famous names as Fernando Alonso, Max Biaggi, and Giancarlo Fisichella. HSH Prince Albert II captains Star Team Monaco, along with famous celebrities such as Sergej Bubka, Carlos Sainz and Juan Pablo Montoya.

Dana Johansson, Manager of Commodore Casino, commented, “We are very pleased to be the prime sponsor of the World Stars Football Match. Celebrity watchers and sports fans alike can look forward to an entertaining display of on field skill by some of the most well known people on the planet. AMADE is well known for the work it has done for children worldwide over the last 40 years and we jumped at the chance to help.
