Bodog.com earns Hitwise's award for most visited sports betting site

Bodog.com has received the prestigious Hitwise award for being the most visited site for the quarter, ending March 2006.
The 'Gamblíng - Sports Betting' category is keenly contested and Bodog was proud to finish ahead of its rivals.
Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com, said, 'We've worked hard to magnify our Internet presence over the last few years, so it is quite an honour to be recognized by a credible third party site for this specific achievement.'
Bodog.com has led this category in the past. However, this award marks the first time the online gaming giant has been publicly recognized for this achievement by Hitwise.
Ayre continued, 'With a continued heavy focus on our sports betting channel, coupled with the overall growth in the awareness of the Bodog.com brand, we fully expect to continue to lead the industry in terms of our Internet presence.'
