EGET Deliver Internet Games for the Chilean National Lottery

European Game & Entertainment Technology seal Chilean deal

Thursday 29th July 2004

Finnish-based provider of online and mobile gaming solutions, EGET, has won a deal to deliver new online games for Polla Chilena de Beneficencia, the state lottery operator of Chile. EGET said it was approached by INTRALOT, software supplier to Polla Chilena, and that by pooling the resources and skills of the two companies’ development teams, were able to ensure that the games could be customised and integrated into Polla Chilena’s existing gaming platform in the most rapid and cost-effective way.

A spokesperson for EGET told us, “The fast delivery pace was enabled by the flexible design of EGET’s Game Application Interfaces (Game APIs). The Game API makes it possible to plug any EGET game into any gaming platform. The end result was 4 new visually appealing online games: an Instant Keno game named as “Galactic Keno”, a 3 reel 5 line slot machine named as “Travel Game”, a 5 reel 9 line slot machine called “Lucky Day” and a poker game called “Western Poker”.”

Spiros Pachnis, INTRALOT’s Alternative Channels (BU) Director added “EGET’s commitment and responsiveness to the requirements of the project, as well as the technology characteristics of the EGET’s Game API, fully justified INTRALOT’s decision in this project, to select and integrate EGET’s games on its ACSS platform.”
