Sportsbook.com rates the Indianapolis Colts as a good chance to run the table in the NFL this year. With three games to go it is likely that head coach, Tony Dungy will rest his star players ahead of the playoffs but oddsmakers still favour a clean sweep by the Colts.
The current odds are -115 on both the Colts going 16-0 and the Colts losing one of their remaining three regular season games, it is the first time since offering odds on the Colts to achieve a 16-0 record that the odds are no longer against Indianapolis accomplishing the feat.
Peter Childs, Sportsbook.com oddsmaker said, ‘This team is so close to history and the players are so competitive that I can't see Dungy keeping them off the field for very long. They might rest the stars in the fourth quarter of games if they have a comfortable lead but you can't keep Manning off the field in a close game.’
The Colts play San Diego on Sunday and Seattle the following week. The game at Seattle could be a likely Super Bowl preview as the Seahawks are running away from the pack in the NFC and favoured to represent the conference in the Super Bowl.
