Wireless Software Developer In New Licensing Agreement

‘Sports Illustrated’ and ‘Time’ odds closed after suspicious betting

Monday 5th December 2005

Wireless platform software provider, Phantom Fiber Corporation has announced a five-year license agreement with Orbis Technology – provider of the industry-leading OpenBet gambling platform. The business terms of the agreement are based on a revenue share model in which both parties will share in the business generated by mobile players.

Phantom Fiber's Advanced Wireless Platform delivers for Orbit a host of features including multi-language and multi-currency support, in addition to mobile development staff focused on the Asian mobile gaming market.

Jeff Halloran, President and CEO for Phantom Fiber stated, 'We are extremely pleased to have partnered with such a reputable and recognized name in the sports wagering sector... We also feel that this is an ideal partnership as both companies share the same deep-rooted philosophy to offer operators and players access to a simple platform using a single account - which provides immense speed-to-market benefits and ease of use.'

Orbis Managing Director, David Loveday, was equally optimistic, 'As a major wireless platform solution provider to leading … we now have a compelling opportunity to utilize their (Phantom Fiber) mobile expertise and mobile device reach to help our clients to target mobile gamblers globally regardless of the mobile device they currently own.”
