Chartwell Technology Inc., a provider of gaming software systems to the online and remote gaming industry, has announced the release of Version 2.1 of their multiplayer poker product. The new product offers immediate benefits to Chartwell's clients as well as supporting the expansion plans of Chartwell's poker community.

Player-side enhancements in Version 2.1 include display filters and a 'Favourites' area allowing players to quickly find and join a free table with their preferred parameters. Forthcoming features include a new user-friendly table design with larger buttons, Player Avatars and Buddy Lists. System architecture improvements include optimised communication protocols in order to reduce the bandwidth requirements to operate, and prepare the system for the upcoming launch of a flash poker product.
