Inaugural Poker League Presents Winner with $15,000 Prize

The first ever season of CelebPoker.com’s Poker League has drawn to a close and CelebPoker has announced that “El Bis” has won a choice of a $15,000 cash prize or a seat for the WPT Diamond Tournament in Las Vegas which has a $15,000 buy-in.
When asked if he intended to take the seat at WPT Diamonds in Las Vegas, El Bis said he thought his chances against the world’s best players were good. 'This year I played in the WSOP,” he explained. “I played with pros like Layne Flack and David Chiu and finished in the money, so I think I fared quite well.'
CelebPoker also sends congratulations to the players who finished in the top ten. Those who ended in positions two to five won a deluxe poker chip set, CelebPoker polo shirt and playing cards whilst those in positions six to 10 received the polo shirt and playing cards.
The next season of the CelebPoker.com Poker League is set to kick off in October and the organisers claim that it will be “bigger, better and faster” than the inaugural tournament. Testament to the claim, the second season will apparently offer more cash and a faster payout, $2,500 monthly prize pools for the top five players, five weekly league games, weekly freeroll and re-buy league games and deeper starting stacks.
