Tribeca Tables announce the appointment of Erik Ahlberg as new President

The board of Tribeca Tables Europe Limited, the world's largest aggregator of ePoker brands, has announced the appointment of Erik Ahlberg as its new President with immediate effect.

The move follows the recent announcement of the merger between Tribeca and Ahlberg’s former company Tain, and according to reports it was during the negotiation process that the Board of Tribeca Tables were first impressed by Mr Ahlberg.

Steve Cook, European managing director for Tribeca said, 'We are very pleased to welcome Erik into the Tribeca family. The company will be able to utilise his poker industry and management expertise to take Tribeca to the next corporate level'.

Tribeca's portfolio of brands has been expanding over the last few months, and now includes such names as Sporting Index, Paddy Power, Blue Sq, Victor Chandler, and Celtic Football Club.

Erik Ahlberg asserted, 'Tribeca is the market leader in online poker aggregation and I am extremely excited to be selected by the board. During my time at Tain, I focused on the European markets and I plan to bring this experience and market knowledge to Tribeca.”

Mr Ahlberg added that he also planned to make further announcements over the coming weeks.
